Basketball Recap: Gordonsville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Gordonsville took on Pickett County on Tuesday. The Gordonsville Tigers were dealt a 95-44 loss at the hands of the Pickett County Bobcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Gordonsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Pickett County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Coming up, Gordonsville will challenge Whitwell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pickett County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
