            The Northeastern Bobcats will head out to  face off against the Central York Panthers  at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northeastern has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the  match with seven straight  losses, while Central York will come in with seven straight  victories.
Northeastern lost  10-1 to Kennard-Dale on Monday.
Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Central York challenged William Penn on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bearcats  a   17-0 shutout. That 17 run margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

 Central York's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-2. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Northeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Northeastern couldn't quite get it done against Central York when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 as they fell  9-5. Can the Bobcats avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
