Jackson-Olin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylen Washington, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Jackson-Olin's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Minor, the victory snapped their losing streak at 17 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-15 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Minor beat Jackson-Olin by a score of 15-0 later that day.
