Football Game Preview: Chicago Christian vs. Collins Academy/Manley

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Saturday Chicago Christian will take on Collins Academy/Manley at 4:00 PM. Chicago Christian don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

After having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Elmwood Park, Chicago Christian were happy to find some success last Friday. Chicago Christian dodged a bullet, finishing off Fenton 34-33. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Meanwhile, Collins Academy/Manley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Foreman as the squad secured a 48-0 win. That looming 48-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Collins Academy/Manley yet.

Their wins bumped Chicago Christian to 6-3 and Collins Academy/Manley to 8-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Chicago Christian and Collins Academy/Manley clash.
