Soccer Game Preview: Greenback vs. Eagleton College & Career Academy

The Greenback Cherokees will head out on the road to face off against the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Greenback took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Maryville Christian. Hadley Black had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Greenback.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Eagleton College & Career Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They never let Rockwood get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Eagleton College & Career Academy.

The win got Eagleton College & Career Academy back to even at 5-5-2. As for Greenback, their record is now 5-6.
