They escaped with a win against the Tri-City Christian Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

La Jolla's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lance Braga, who posted 16 points. Cole Hein was another key player, putting up 11 points.

La Jolla's record now sits at 13-2. As for Tri-City Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
