Kinder came tearing into Wednesday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Oakdale Warriors get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Kinder pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Oakdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kinder will welcome Holy Savior Menard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kinder's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Holy Savior Menard's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oakdale, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Port Barre at 5:00 p.m.
