There's no place like home for Winnetonka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Raytown South Cardinals on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Griffins in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won four in a row.

Winnetonka had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-11, 25-14, 29-27.

MacKenzie Turner paced Winnetonka's offense, picking up 13 kills. Turner got some help from Shayla Nguyen and her 33 assists. Lan-An Tran controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Winnetonka's win bumped their record up to 10-13-2. As for Raytown South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
