Volleyball Recap: Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short

Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Stargate School Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.

Kyle Feddler paced Highlands Ranch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Feddler got some help from Derek Pierce and his 29 assists. Finally, Will Brasfield kept Highlands Ranch's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Stargate School, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Highlands Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Bear Creek on the 17th. As for Stargate School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Severance on the 17th.
