Football Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Hamlin

Hamlin had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 6-1 to make it four. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Roscoe Plowboys. The game was the first time the Pied Pipers have beaten the Plowboys on their field since October 12, 2018.

As for Roscoe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6. Plowboys fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Hamlin since Friday.

Roscoe's loss came despite strong showings from Jace Arnwine and Tylan Balthrop. Arnwine threw for 138 yards and one TD, while Balthrop gained 100 total yards. Balthrop was even better on defense, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Hamlin has already played their next game, a 28-0 win against Miles on the 24th. As for Roscoe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-0 victory against Winters on the 24th.
