Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Triway walked away with it. They came out on top against the Norwayne Bobcats by a score of  11-6  on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the  match before.
 Lexi Long spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
 On the hitting side, Triway let  Kenzie Gatti and  Ashley Braunscheidel run wild. Gatti  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Braunscheidel  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs. That's the most  runs  Braunscheidel has posted since back in April.  Alyssa Hochstetler was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
Triway is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season. As for Norwayne, their record is now 19-5.
As of now, neither Triway nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
