Basketball Recap: Seeger Find Success

On Saturday, the Seeger Patriots didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Bethesda Christian Patriots, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. That's two games straight that Seeger has won by exactly six points.

Tyler Harris went supernova for Seeger, going 5 of 9 to rack up 15 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Harris is becoming a predictor of Seeger's success: when he posts at least five steals the team is undefeated (and 5-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jack Cole, who posted ten points.

The victory got Seeger back to even at 9-9. As for Bethesda Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Coming up, Seeger will venture away from home to face off against Western Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Boone will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Seeger surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethesda Christian, they will be playing at home against Speedway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethesda Christian is facing Speedway at the right time seeing as Speedway is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
