Football Game Preview: Brighton Bengals vs. Springville Red Devils

The Brighton Bengals will take on the Springville Red Devils at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Brighton sitting on three straight victories and Springville on eight.

Brighton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Fremont by a score of 27-14.

Brighton found their leader in sophomore Judah Naweli, who rushed for 168 yards and one score.

Brighton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Little and Trey Harper. Little is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last six games he's played. Brighton received some extra help from Jaxon Nettleton, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, Springville was able to grind out a solid win over Box Elder on Friday, taking the game 28-21.

Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
