They walked away with a 49-41 win over Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool on Tuesday. Louisburg's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Allie Sifford, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Sami Baum, who scored 12 points.
Louisburg's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-8. As for Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Louisburg will be playing at home against Chanute on Thursday. Chanute is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool, they will take on Girard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Girard will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
