Gonzaga Prep waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Ridgeline Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bullpups have posted since May 11, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Karis, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Strahl, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Gonzaga Prep's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Ridgeline, they moved to 8-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
