Volleyball Recap: Coral Springs Charter Takes a Loss

If Coral Springs Charter was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Avant Garde Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coral Springs Charter Panthers fell 3-1 to the Taravella Trojans on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19.

Aakash Arancherry paced Coral Springs Charter's offense, picking up 11 kills. Arancherry got some help from Bryan Kiley and his 20 assists. Finally, Michael Chin and Murillo Boeta kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Coral Springs Charter now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Taravella, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Coral Springs Charter will be taking part in a tournament against Atlantic Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taravella, they will welcome Pembroke Pines Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
