Baseball Recap: Nevis Comes Up Short

Nevis was the 10-6 winner over Blackduck when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Drakes on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevis' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Blackduck, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Nevis will square off against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Blackduck, they will challenge Win-E-Mac at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
