Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Northeast Rebels, falling 7-0. The River Kings were not able to make up for their loss to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in June of 2025.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northeast, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Clinton will venture away from home to square off against Muscatine at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast, they will square off against Wilton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
