Baseball Recap: Gadsden City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lewis County last Thursday, Gadsden City came back down to earth. The Titans fell 5-2 to the Fort Payne Wildcats on Tuesday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Gadsden City's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Fort Payne, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Gadsden City by a score of 9-4 on Thursday.
