Basketball Game Preview: Columbus Grove Bulldogs vs. Pandora-Gilboa Rockets

The Columbus Grove Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pandora-Gilboa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Columbus Grove, who comes in off a win.

Columbus Grove will head into Saturday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Continental on Saturday. Columbus Grove claimed a resounding 64-37 victory over Continental. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Pirates are ranked 788th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pandora-Gilboa came up short against Van Buren on Friday and fell 58-51.

Pandora-Gilboa's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Columbus Grove, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Columbus Grove came up short against Pandora-Gilboa in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 55-48. Can Columbus Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
