Basketball Recap: Parowan Rams vs. Water Canyon Wildcats
The Parowan Rams can finally bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Water Canyon 46-29. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Parowan has managed all season.
It was another big night for Bella Robinson, who scored 27 points along with seven steals. That makes it 19 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Parowan's points. Wylee Renzello was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and four steals.
Parowan's victory ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-17. As for Water Canyon, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Parowan will challenge the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beaver presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rams in Utah (the Beavers are ranked 17th, while the Rams are ranked 115th). As for Water Canyon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
