Volleyball Recap: Stewarts Creek Takes a Loss

Stewarts Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Siegel Stars. If the Red Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Stars when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Stewarts Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Rayne White paced Stewarts Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. White got some help from Kaitlyn Viriyapong and her ten assists. Finally, Alexandra Demoet kept Stewarts Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with ten blocks.

Camryn Faulk had a dynamite game For Siegel., getting 18 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Faulk has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Stewarts Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Siegel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-14 record this season.

Stewarts Creek will venture away from home to square off against Rockvale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Siegel, they will head out to take on Cookeville at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
