Softball Recap: McCamey Comes Up Short

McCamey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Forsan Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-7 on Friday.

McCamey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arissa Moss, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Nikki Espinoza also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

McCamey's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Forsan, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McCamey is set to face off against their familiar foe Ozona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Forsan will take on rival Van Horn at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
