Preview: Clinton vs. Emerald
Emerald will challenge Clinton on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-52, which was the final score in Emerald's tilt against Woodruff last Friday. Emerald were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Clinton lost to Newberry, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 12-49. Clinton were down by 12-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
