The Roger Bacon Spartans were dealt a 95-49 defeat at the hands of the Purcell Marian Cavaliers on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Roger Bacon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gianna Bose, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Gussie Hoffman, who went 7 of 17 en route to 14 points.
