Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Tallulah Falls was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to the Tigers. Tallulah Falls has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Athens Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 77-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rabun County. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Tallulah Falls has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Athens Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
Tallulah Falls came up short against the Eagles in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-54. Can Tallulah Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
