Tazewell and Carroll County are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will host the Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tazewell is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Tazewell fell victim to Richlands and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Blue Tornado, falling 10-0.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Carroll County and Pulaski County meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 19-2 to the Cougars. The contest marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Tazewell came out on top in a nail-biter against Carroll County in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
