Basketball Recap: Creighton Takes a Loss

Creighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 36-35.

Among those leading the charge was Jaquelin Luna-Duran, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Jaycee Gadeken was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds.

Creighton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Neligh-Oakdale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-15.

Creighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they will take on North Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
