Basketball Recap: Seguin Triumphs

Seguin saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Edna Cowboys by a score of 55-47.

It was another big night for Corey Dailey, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Seguin's points. Lane Seidenberger was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Seguin's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Edna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing King the next time they take the court. Seguin will head out to face King at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Edna will play them later in the day, at 10:15 a.m.
