Soccer Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Douglas Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Douglas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Newcastle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Douglas, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Newcastle wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against Buffalo on the 9th. As for Douglas, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Worland on the 8th.
