Soccer Recap: Broughton Takes a Loss

The Broughton Capitals didn't have quite enough to beat the Leesville Road Pride on Wednesday and fell 2-1. Broughton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Stella Valdespino, who's now up to two this season.

Broughton now has a losing record of 3-4-3. As for Leesville Road, they pushed their record up to 5-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Broughton will head out to take on Panther Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leesville Road, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cardinal Gibbons at 6:30 p.m. on April 9.
