Basketball Game Preview: Schenck Wolverines vs. Dexter Tigers

The Schenck Wolverines and the Dexter Tigers will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Schenck will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Schenck is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Machias, who was ranked seventh at the time (Schenck was ranked ninth). Schenck snuck past Machias with a 54-50 victory on Friday.

Meanwhile, Dexter's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Monday. The matchup between them and Mattanawcook didn't end well, with Dexter falling 57-42. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Schenck's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dexter, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Schenck against Dexter in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 65-23 victory. Will Schenck repeat their success, or does Dexter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
