The Enterprise Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the McLaurin Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Enterprise's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Last Tuesday, Enterprise got the win against Kemper County by a conclusive 20-3. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Garrett Neal, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Enterprise is undefeated when Neal posts two or more runs, but 3-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Blackburn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, McLaurin was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Olive on Friday, taking the game 18-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Braden Phillips made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Phillips was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jamari Horton was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Landon Mayo was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Enterprise's record is now 8-11. As for McLaurin, their record is now 10-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enterprise has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. However, it's not like McLaurin struggles in that department as they've averaged .622. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enterprise took their win against McLaurin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2. Does Enterprise have another victory up their sleeve, or will McLaurin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
