Football Recap: Iroquois Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Iroquois extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conneaut Area Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 33-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Although Iroquois took the loss, they still got scores from Treyvon Scott and Ethan Alderson.

As for Conneaut Area, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 35.5 points this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Conneaut Area to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Ford, who rushed for 82 yards on only seven carries.

Iroquois didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 34-0 defeat against Eisenhower on the 5th. As for Conneaut Area, they have also already played their next game, a 55-7 loss against Hickory on the 5th.
