Baseball Game Preview: Guilderland Flying Dutchmen vs. Niskayuna Silver Warriors

The Guilderland Flying Dutchmen will challenge the Niskayuna Silver Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, Guilderland didn't have quite enough to beat Shaker and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Flying Dutchmen in their meetings with the Bison: they've now lost four in a row.

Guilderland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Warchol, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Travis Berschwinger, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Niskayuna lost 10-2 to Shenendehowa on Monday. The Silver Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Niskayuna now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Guilderland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
