Basketball Recap: Wossman Finds Home Court Redemption Against Carroll

There's no place like home for Wossman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-28 victory over the Carroll Bulldogs on Tuesday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Bulldogs are ranked 152nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wossman is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wossman will take on Tioga at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lincoln Prep at 6:00 p.m. Carroll is facing Lincoln Prep at the right time seeing as Lincoln Prep is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
