Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Prep Silver Knights vs. Sultana Sultans + Official Tickets

Riverside Prep hasn't had much luck against Sultana recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Silver Knights will get right back to it and host the Sultans at 7:00 p.m. Riverside Prep has given up an average of 61.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Riverside Prep lost to Monrovia on the road by a 65-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Silver Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 766th, while the Wildcats are ranked 349th).

Meanwhile, Sultana came up short against Excelsior Charter last Thursday, falling 71-46.

Riverside Prep will need to focus on slowing down Kennon (Bradley) Breeding, one of several Sultana players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Pele, who put up 11 points and six rebounds.

Sultana's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Riverside Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
