Football Recap: Sickles Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sickles extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They took a blow against the Armwood Hawks, falling 49-0. The shutout was out of character for the Gryphons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Even if they lost, Sickles' defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Judson Benjamin was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

As for Armwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.0 points this season.

Armwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allonzo Williams led the charge by rushing for 57 yards and one TD on only five carries. Desean Sharrieff made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
