Football Recap: Sickles Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sickles had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Armwood Hawks. Considering the last time the Gryphons couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Even if they lost, Sickles' defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Judson Benjamin was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

As for Armwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.3 points on average this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Armwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allonzo Williams, who rushed for 57 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Desean Sharrieff made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Sickles wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-21 victory against Leto on the 17th. As for Armwood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 58-0 win against Steinbrenner on the 17th.
