Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newark Charter School). They blew past the Brandywine Bulldogs 17-6 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Newark Charter School's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Brandywine, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Newark Charter School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
