El Cajon Valley came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Grossmont Foothillers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

One reason for the win was El Cajon Valley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-11.

Mustafa Sarferaz paced El Cajon Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sarferaz got some help from Brandon Sanchez and his 15 assists. Kaden Porter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

El Cajon Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-3. As for Grossmont, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

El Cajon Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Santana on the 3rd. Grossmont has also already played their next contest (against Helix), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
