Notre Dame Academy is 0-10 against De Pere since April of 2019 but things could change on Saturday. The Tritons will host the Redbirds at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Notre Dame Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Manitowoc Lincoln, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Tritons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Ships on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tritons.
Ella Nowak made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Nowak was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 games.

In other batting news, Olivia Waldrop was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Jahner, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Notre Dame Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for De Pere, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Manitowoc Lincoln a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Redbirds haven't had any issues with the Ships recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
De Pere got a massive performance out of Bella Robinett, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Jaelyn Craig was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Notre Dame Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for De Pere, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Notre Dame Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like De Pere struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Notre Dame Academy suffered a grim 9-3 defeat to De Pere when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Tritons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
