Softball Recap: Benbrook Find Success

Benbrook saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Breckenridge Buckaroos 10-8.

Benbrook has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Breckenridge and nudges their season record down to 4-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benbrook will square off against Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckenridge, they will face off against Comanche at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckenridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
