Clyde waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Seneca East Tigers 18-3. The result was nothing new for the Fliers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Clyde pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Seneca East, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Clyde will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwalk at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Truckers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Fliers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Seneca East, they will challenge Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
