Soccer Recap: Ripon's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ripon had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Troy Trojans a 3-0 shutout. Ripon might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Carson Kaiser and Devin Donovan scored all three of Ripon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 66 goals.

The win keeps Ripon at an undefeated 16-0-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for East Troy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Coming up, Ripon will take on Living Word Lutheran at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
