Basketball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-35 loss at the hands of the Round Rock Westwood Warriors. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Manor's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Chandler, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points. Austin Androh was another key player, putting up five points and six boards.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Round Rock Westwood, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Manor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-49 defeat against Belton on the 16th. As for Round Rock Westwood, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hutto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hippos have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
