Coventry found a leader in Kevin Johnson as the team took down Portland on Monday. Johnson didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
