Basketball Recap: Bradwell Institute Starts off Right with Win over Windsor Forest + How To Watch

Bradwell Institute took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They really took it to the Windsor Forest Knights for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-42 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 70-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Christopher Perry was nothing short of spectacular: he went 10-for-13 en route to 27 points along with five boards and five steals. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zi'On Thomas, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Bradwell Institute smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor Forest lost, don't look at Cameron Hodges. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Rysuan Braxton, who posted eight points.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradwell Institute is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on St. Andrew's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor Forest, they will head out to square off against New Hampstead at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
