Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Comes Up Short

Chamberlain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Wagner Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Cubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 17th).

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Wagner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chamberlain will face off against Hanson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Chamberlain is facing Hanson at the right time seeing as Hanson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wagner, they will challenge Gregory at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
