Baseball Recap: Martinsville Comes Up Short

Martinsville was the 15-14 winner over George Washington when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 4-1 to the Eagles on Friday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Martinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for George Washington, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martinsville will host Dan River at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
