Softball Recap: Deming Comes Up Short

Deming lost to Los Lunas two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deming saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carmen Duran, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Deming's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Los Lunas, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Deming will take on Cobre at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Lunas, they will challenge Artesia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
